What is a linear foot?

A linear foot is a measurement of straight-line length — 12 inches or 30.48 cm. It is used for materials sold by length, such as trim, edging, pipe, expansion joints, or cove base.

How do I convert linear meters to linear feet?

Multiply linear meters by 3.281. For example, 10 linear meters equals 32.81 linear feet. The calculator handles this conversion automatically.

What does the waste allowance do?

It adds a percentage on top of your total to account for offcuts, overlaps, and installation errors. A 10% waste factor is typical for most trim and edging work.

Can I label each row?
